Founder

Sam is the founder of Open Season Academy and Texas Outfitters Network. With a combined 28 years of video production and web development experience, his video work has aired on GONE TV, Hunt Channel, Pursuit Channel, Golf Channel and Travel Channel. Sam produced and filmed a season of Warrior Pursuits TV for the Hunt Channel and GONE TV.

Sam’s love for the outdoors started while hunting and fishing in the piney woods of East Texas. He has combined a passion for the hunting/fishing industry and years of marketing/technical knowledge to create Open Season Academy.

The goal of Open Season Academy is to fill the gap of online courses for the outdoor industry and build partnerships with content creators.

Sam served as Media Coordinator for Freedom Care Warrior Project for 4 years and has worked with numerous non-profit groups supporting veterans.
